New Castle County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (NCC ARES) provides emergency communications infrastructure and volunteer radio operators to support local government agencies, emergency management, and disaster response organizations throughout Northern Delaware.

New Castle County ARES meetings are run in close conjunction with the First State Amateur Radio Club (FSARC) regular meetings.

NCC ARES operates and monitors primary tactical communications on the following UHF repeater:
- Repeater: NCC ARES Primary Repeater
- Frequency: 448.825 MHz (-5.0 MHz offset)
- PL Tone: 131.8 Hz
